rims tires and lift on my :)

i have a 06 crew cab with the stock 17" rims and tires , it is time for new tires and im looking into buying a set of 20" oem if i can find a set and running goodyear wrangler silent armor 285/60/20s (got an awsome deal on them), ive search and know i will need to level the front 3", my question is whats the best level kit to go with, and will i have any rub issues from installing this new set of rims and tires after the lift? thanks alot guys!

well if im right that's about a 33.5in. tire and with stock wheels you can run that without any leveling kit i believe, if you have a 4wd. oh and about the leveling kit, it's a general understanding that a 3in. kit is bad for the front end. you should stick with 2.5 or below. some good brands are hellbent,autospring,daystar..... but when it comes to a leveling kit i don't think any brand stands out as that much better than the other.

Yeah dont go over a 2.5 level on these trucks. You shouldn't have a problem with those tires fitting. Many of us have the Autospring kit off of ebay and they work great. Fat Bobs and HBS are good brands too. All basically work the same so just look for your best price.

Watch the classifieds in here and you can almost always find a set on ebay.
