i remember somebody posting some site before with a good price for those power side steps but i cant remember the site or the price.

4 wheel parts has them right now for $1180 including a free light kit for the steps and free shipping

is there any other site out there thats cheaper?

I got mine from electricstep.com, think it was $1,100 with free shipping, but it did not include the light kit.

does anyone know if it is possible to make the steps come out when you press unlock on your key fob?

 

I'm sure it could be done, but sounds like a wiring nightmare. However, you can step on the step while you close the door and they will stay out for cleaning the roof and whatnot. Then open and close the door as normal and they got right back up.

I do this in the mall part lot and such to keep people from dinging my doors.
