What's that lighting the military uses that isn't too visible from a short distance away?

Those are the only two I've played with so far from the manual. The only other neat little trick I've done is the Bambi mod. It lets you use your fog lights with the high beams.

I don't think it's any special lighting--just red colored. Red light is less visible to the human eye. Put a red lens cover on a flashlight and it puts out much less light yet is still visible up close.

I'd think so, although it may get old after a while if you're trying to read something inside the cab at night. May be a strain on your eyes. Would be unique, though, and I'm actually curious to how it would turn out. If you do it post up pics!

I wish I had the know-how to make a dual system. Red lights for turning the ignition off or unlocking the vehicle and then the regular lights for seeing stuff.

to turn off your interior lights and keep them off turn your dimmer switch all the way down to dim, and then keep going down more til you here it click.

the dimmer switch has 3 positions;

all the way up - interior lights on, dash illumination 100%

in the middle - interior lights on auto (door open/truck unlock they will come on), dash illumination what u set it to

all the way down - interior lights will never come on regardless of doors open/truck unlock, dash illumination at its lowest

Just change the dome light only, and leave the map lights white

so bypass the map lights when in the dome position, and have map lights only on when selected.

bankrpt you should update your profile, since it says you still have a 1993 F150

You do both independently. I've got some errands to run but I'll post up how later if no one answers by then.
