i have yet to see ANYONE on here that has the same kind of F150 as me....im just curious as to how someone with this truck has modded it

im really hung up on the grille...that H-bar fx4 grille is KILLING me.....the whole thing is the matte plastic upper bumper beneath the grill...this material is also what the grille surround is made out of, unfortunately

anyway, if you have opinions id appreciate that also

Truck now:

Some photoshops of the grilles ive been thinking about (saleen, fx2, honeycomb, roush, etc...i just hate chrome)

i have a dsg truck, but i have ptm bumpers. i went with a blackout look for mine. i really love the saleen grille but it wasn't availible when i got my grille so i went with a t-rex black billet. heres the truck

and the grille

nice truck!

sorry but what do those acronyms mean? (dsg and ptm)?

it seems like my truck had to be part-swapped by the dealer at some point, because i havent seen a single one like it.......if the surround and upper bumper were painted, it would be a hell of an easier choice i think.

yeah ptm means paint to match and dsg means dark shadow gray, it's the technical name for our color trucks.

thanks about the truck, yeah usually the trucks with the matte black upper bumper are like the all white work truck models. idk maybe you could find a dsg upper bumper piece on ebay or somewhere and swap them out.
