Odd?

Dont really know what to call it but today I was backing my truck up into m y dads shop, the shop is new and has gravel out front so I popped it into 4wd so I didnt chew up the gravel out front. Anyway I turned the truck to full lock and it stopped dead. I went to move and the truck did move but it felt like somthing was rubbing or sticking. I checked over everything and didn't feel or see anything? I know its not much to go on but has anyone else had this happen?

That is just 4x4 in action. This will always happen unless you are on a slippery surface. When you turn the wheel the turning radius is different for each tire, if you are in 4x4 both tires are trying to turn at the same speed, This just cannot happen, 1 tire has to slip for this "binding" feeling to disappear.
