It was probably a combination of the stock blower tune and bad driving on his part. Do you know what kind of supercharger he had? The roush dumps boost above a certain rpm, not to mention the stock speed limiter remains intact.

Very bad driving skills. That just should not happen.

X2

It really doesn't take much to beat one of those heavy Harley trucks, especially when they're stock tuned.

that Harley is putting down about 333 RWHP...or if he is unlucky, 300 wheel HP with the AWD setup.

tuning alone will put hime at about 340-350 RWHP. and 8 psi + tuning will net him 370-380 RWHP.

many factors. the Roush/Saleen stock tunes suck ***. they leave alot of performance on the table.

and then if that HD is a AWD truck, he is losing another 20-30 HP or so through the t-case and front axle

vs. your truck bankrpt which can probably dyno out maybe at 240 RWHP.

I am more inclined to think the HD owner didn't have a clue. He easily has at least 60 HP more than you. and if he didn't plant the throttle, his boost bypass never shut. so he'd only partially be into the boost.

I know from my RoushCharged F-150 Supercrew, that a "normal" F-150 doesn't have a chance in hell against a Blown F-150. I was playing with Mustangs and Chargers...and surprised quite a few of them.

I remember reading the saleen s/c option on the harley trucks was only available on the 2wd models. You could not get it on the awd models, not dealer installed anyway.

I'm guessing your about 250 at the wheels now, figure another 20-25 with the hot rod cams.
