help with buying a truck

I have been looking at trucks lately for a while and going to give up my dsg 03 mach 1 to get one. I need one for all my house renos and taking other mustang to track (getting old having to get someone elses).

I am looking for a gray/black/white/blue supercrew 4x4 with sunroof , leather and center console

But am i low balling. Such as this morning there is a 05 f150 looks like the gray color of my car. Supercrew, 4x4, tan leather, center console, sunroof, and 65k miles on it. So i asked whats the price he said 22,8 and i asked him what was the lowest price he could do since i would have to drive 2 hrs to get there he said 21,824 and to me thats alot of money for a 05 with 65k asked if he could get in the 19.999 he said no way.

Whats the honest going rate for these 05-06 supercrew 4x4's in mid 50's milage range?

I would think the price range would be between 16 to 18! This man is crazy wanting 22,8 for an 05 with 65k on it!!!! I got an 04 FX4 SCrew for way less than that!!

If your willing to drive 2 hours to buy a truck, then that tells the salesman that you have found the perfect truck for you, and when that happens the price goes up. There's always another truck.

Well i found a DSG 05 supercrew FX4, 45k miles, sprayed bed liner, sunroof, power sliding rear, back up sensors, captain chairs, 6disc, twg pkg and black leather.

i talked them down to 22.5k plus 250 dollar doc fee ( from 700 ..honestly ) is this a good deal or still way to high?

way to high. i paid barely more for a fully loaded 2005 fx4 king ranch f250 2 months ago.

where are you located? in texas their are deals that are pretty easy to find. hell you can buy a new 09 screw 4 door for 12k off the sticker. (advertised outside the dealerships on trucks)
