getting rims on thursday..Updated with pics

Hey guys, I dont post here very often but am always here looking at threads. But I found some rims/tires on craigslist that are an amazing deal. http://flint.craigslist.org/pts/1382273488.html
I will be getting these then selling my worn 35" pro comps... if I can get anything for them I will be happy, then hopefully be purchasing some 275/60/20 cooper zeon ltz soon. Let me know what you guys think and later will probably powdercoat them black since thats the theme of my truck, just cant pass up this deal.

hahahaha, Same thing ran through my mind. When you pick them up ask him what year and color was the ford they were mounted on. If he hesitates for one sec turn around and walk away from the deal.

Oh and for good sake keep your old tires and rims for awhile just in case the real owner comes back to collect.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. I will feel alittle better if he rolls up in a NBS f150. Im definitely going to ask some F150 related questions, just to test him. I hope it works out. There is a center cap missing and I asked him where I could get a new one and he said he didnt know but that belle tire sells the brand rims, I did double check on that and he was right. So that makes me feel alittle more sound.

Well he does say that the locks and lugs are included, he would have been hard pressed to get them off with the locks on the wheels. I cant wait to see them on your truck, pics please!

Thats another thing I was thinking too, if he has the lugs and locks he was really determined to get them and then only sell them for $200 considering the rims alone are $240 a piece. So I think Im in the clear. But I will definitely get some pics up tomorrow night after I get them mounted.

Ok I went and met the guy to get the rims and indeed it was legit. He was driving a 2005 FX4 and he said he bought the truck with them on it and wanted something different. So he bought some stock FX4 rims and new BFG TA's. So I looked over the rims and they arent perfect, there is some chrome peeling on the backside which isnt noticable from the front and some pitting also near the back (somewhat noticable). But for $200 I am very pleased, the tires are getting low about 8/32nds left on the goodyear wrangler HP's, but still ride very very smooth. I wasnt worried about the chrome peeling since I want to powdercoat the rims black anyway down the road so all in all I found an amazing deal and here are the pics. Oh and I just got a phone call today with a job offer at a web design company. I just graduated college in May and am now starting my career, I am super excited.

BEFORE: 35" Pro Comp Extreme AT's

AFTER: 20" MKW rims w/ 275/60/20 wrangler HP's. Soon to be Cooper Zeon LTZ's
And the front is alittle high due to the heavy *** 35's in the bed.
