power rear slider help

I recently purchased a 2005 ford f150 supercrew that has the power rear slider and it doesn't seem to work I haven't really got a chance to work on it but wondering if there is a common problem I need to know about that might get me started in the right direction

Just keep pressing the switch and lightly grease the cable/track. Pretty common problem is not used often enough.

I just bought mine and same problem. I tried the working it while holding the button and had no luck. Luckily I hadnt paid for the truck yet and told the dealer I wanted a new regulator/motor in case I couldnt get it working. They said OK and threw in a new set of motorcraft shoes for each corner. BTW any one need some motor craft shoes for their rig? Im not putting these dusty things on here.

Good Luck, but I read on here if you do get it working use some silicone lube and a lot of members open it every day to keep it from sticking again.

mine was not working for a year. It did not work with a small hammer so I got a bigger one and it works fine now.
