Haha, you make it sound like it's the worst base out there. I've been here(Lackland) since April doing the last school for my retraining, trust me, there's worst places to be stationed. What else you got planned for the rig?

PocketRR- I like lackland it is a good base just hate paying so much to go hunting and fishing in TX, when i can go for free back in NC. But besides that it isnt to bad here .But im trying to go to camp bullis to be a CBAT instructor and that may keep me here for the next 4 years, it is a controlled tour which will be nice.

Yeah I reenlisted while over there and used that bonus to buy the mods for my truck, I figured since i would be spending 4 more years in the military, meaning prob 2 more deployments, I might as well get something for myself.


I ordered all the mods, just had the wife go to the shops and get them installed, but i bet she went to discount tire 10 times for differnt things for me. But yeah she is a keeper to let me get all this stuff and not complain the whole time, I guess since i was deployed she really didnt care.

Exhaust is the next on the list, have to go back to the shop because the guy didnt put my sterring stabilizers on and im going to get some prices on exhaust.

Where did you get the 35's at? I'd like to get that set, but cheapest I can find them is $290 each. How's the ride with the lift and all?

 

Thanks! Got them at discount tire, the BFG are pretty steep on price. But the truck rides great, smooth i think (maybe because i been getting beat around in an up armoured truck for the past 8 months) but my friends say it rides good to. The tires arent loud they have a nice humm around 55 mph, I think it rides the same if not better than my BFG A/T did.
