Is there such thing as a 2-piece rotor/hub replacement?

that is a pretty nifty little conversion kit

but how much $$$

vs. just throwing a 4x4 knuckle & rotor onto your 2wd truck? everything would bolt up.

If you go to properties in his first pic, you'll find the url for the parts. Seems the hub and rotor is made by Centric Parts.

Correct..........They are just the hubs.....no rotors.............I received them a couple of days ago..........they look great!

Just waiting on my rotors and pads now...........

If you need the part number for your truck...........go tot he Centric website and do a search under "hubs".........they only have 2 part numbers.........7 lug and 6 lug.......the ones I bought are 6 lug

wish I would have read this post earlier. I ended up purchasing the 4x4 front hub assembly Now after removing the spindle nut and break lines today, seems I have ended up putting everything back and have to return them (at least they said they'd take them back, with a $30 plus shipping fee loss on my end.
I guess thats what I get for being too eager to install my cross drilled/slotted rotors. I just ordered the centric wheel hubs now thanks to the parts number you guys provided
hopefully I get them soon. I'm moving to TX in a week and a half. lol

So on a side note, if anyone knows someone looking for a 04-08 F150 4x4 hub bearings, I'll do $210 shipped, still taking a loss, but rather take a loss to help out a fellow forum member.

I need some help here. I posted my problem in the brake section with little response. I've gone through 6 rotor/hubs within a year...all due to bearing failures. Can anyone give more info about the reliability of this conversion?...especially those who've done it. Do the bearing keep going out on the conversion? I can't keep forking over money for this bearing issue...it's gotten way too expensive! I'm taking in my truck to Ford to have them give a look over and see if there's something else going on here like a spindle or something. I just can't see how this engineering could be so poor. Please help...replies, emails, IM's...anything!

Thanks
BTW, my truck is an '05 F150 2WD

So far all has gone well with my conversion. Although, a couple of weeks ago one of my brake calipers froze up and heated up my rotor and bearing pretty good. It doesn't spin as freely as it did before (lubricant may have gummed up a bit), but that was my fault for driving on it too long.

You might want to check your calipers. Does the wheel spin freely when the front end is jacked up? Do you smell a metallic smell after normal driving? Does the wheel have extra brake dust on it?

Hopefully you figure out the problem and go for the conversion! At least you can save the rotor of the bearing is what has gone bad.

abourda...I have the same truck you do given its a SCrew.
I did this conversion with cross drilled/slotted rotors and its great, my stopping power is definitely noticeable, did the two piece front conversion and replaced the rear rotors too. I've had no problems although I probably need to lube the spindle since I forgot to when I put them on, however I highly reccommend doing the conversion if you can, in the long run it will save you $$$

Texan, did you experience any bearing failure prior to the conversion? How long have you had the conversion on?

I have discovered (to my delight) that my truck has this conversion! Abourda, to make a long story short, I didn't install this kit on my truck, the previous owner (my grandfather) didn't install this kit on my truck. So that means it was the original owner, and the kit has a minimum of 60k on it with no problems.
