I am looking at purchasing another F150. The truck up for debate is a 2006 F150 Remington Edition 4x4. Can anyone give me some info on the remington edition model? I researched online and found that it is a truck that is modified at the remington factory. Any info is appreciated.

Probably just a few badges, and slightly different seat covers. Special edition trucks are usually a waste of money.

I know someone who has a Remington edition F250 It comes with remington badges, a stick over the windshield and nice seats that say Remington on them. The truck isnt modified in any way, its kinda like a King Ranch I guess, but it says Remington everywhere. Its kinda similar if anyone has seen the Cabelas edition Super Duty's, comes with Gun Racks and cool stuff like that.

Thanks to all, I am taking a look at this rig on saturday. I would agree normally a special edition truck is a waste of money brand new, but used, the truck is usually priced market vaule for a standard edition. It looks like a really nice rig, hope it checks out clear. i am ready to get back in an F-150!

 

Great news! The truck checked out, it has been well maintained and i pulled the trigger on it this afternoon. She is sitting out in the driveway as we speak. It feels great to be apart of the F150 family again! Pics soon to come...
