replacing regulator need some advice!

well after reading about it so long my window regulator went out! seems that the wire that wraps around the motor got tangled up. The cable looks kinda chewed up. Im going to go ahead and replace it. But im wondering if anyone knows how to wind the cable back on to the motor.

Im having a hard time finding one fully assembled and dealer wants 200 for the window regulator with motor when i found a replacement regulator for 65.00.

So if anyone can shed some light on the idea or maybe a write up somewhere i'd really appreciate it!

Personally, I think you will be way ahead replacing the whole thing as one unit. It's a lot of money, but after looking at the mess, I didn't even consider just the regulator. Did you check out tascaford.com?

I paid $128 for an entire regulator assembly at the dealer a while back.
