Tailgate Ford emblem

Does anyone know if the Ford emblem on the tailgate is the same size on the 2004-2008 as the 2009+?

Thats exactly what I am after. They seem to be going for around $300 on ebay with the emblem itself. Trying to make sure the emblems are the same size. I asked the seller and they were not able to confirm.

Check my How To: If you buy the camera version you will have to cut a little bit under the emblem

I guess I am taking all of your ideas. My truck is red so dont worry too much. Did you happen to do a how to on it? Looks like the camera and mirror can be had for 300 on ebay. how difficult was it? I love your truck!

edit... also while I have you here, what did you do about the tpms when you switched wheels?

Yea there is a How to in the forum https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...m-04-08-a.html

Its not the best How to but you get the idea. Find a really good metal cutter to cut the tailgate opening. I had to use metal shears so mine is not the best looking hole. But its covered. LOL. It was fairly easy doing the install. Just take your time.

I have an XLT so I dont have any TPMS.

I believe you can still use your TPMS on new wheels...
