The pinstripe or the sticker ? i mean i can see how having the sticker on could mean pride but not the pinstripe... Too be honest id laugh at a truck if i saw a pinstripe thats jsut me though.

If you look to the rear of the truck you can see the USMC seal. Figured that's what the stripe was about. I say leave it.

Ok it makes a lot more sense when I actually see the entire truck. So I'd have to retract my previous statement.

I actually like it and think if you carried on with the USMC theme you'll have a very nice looking truck. So paint that lower bumper white.

Bdt1967 That is absolutly correct sir. The pinstripe represents the Bloodstripes (red stripe down the pant leg) of the Marines Dress Blue Uniform. Marine's would be able to pick up on this, if you have never been in you might not (that is not a dig on anybody). I knew I would get some hits on the stripe and that is fine, everybody has there likes and dislikes and the right to express there feelings. I just know that when I ran into an older former Marine and he saw my truck he smiled and gave me a Semper Fi it was all worth it.

I can understand Why you have the stripe, and I respect your reason. If the stripe stays, I would PTM the bumpers. Bottom line, I don't think black wheels will go with the final result you are after.

And thanks, my truck does look like every other leveled F-150. I like the way they look, that's why I did it.

Countrypunk the reason I went with the black wheels is because I personaly hate dealing with chrome. I am not home enough (2 wks every 4 mnths) to take proper care of them, and with all the other black on the truck it realy doesn't look bad. If you see the truck in person you would be able to notice that everything does go together.

Powder coat them white................just do it. I kid. Check out some pics of a white FX4 model, that will give you a better understanding of what it will look like. Thats my next mod in the near future......getting rid of all the chrome. White and chrome does look good in a way, but I think our trucks look better PTM'ed. JMO
Here's a pic of my front end, would look so much better all white
