One thing lead to another.....PICS***

So I have had my truck for over a month now and I have been waiting for the time to start my blackout. I only wanted to do the headlights and the windshield cowl but I ended up doing the badges, tails, 3rd brake and removed my STX 4X4 stickers. A 30 pack of Bush, $55 in mat. and beer, 6 hours of work, help from a buddy and a night to dry and this is what I woke up to in the morning....

Windshield Cowl

Headlights with nite shaded reflector...its dark but works

Badge and Tail

3rd brake

Side

Next will be the rims....the only flaws I have in my project is one small ding on the inside of the drivers headlight, its only a pen dot size but I feel like its huge. Also a smaaaaaall run of niteshades in the reverse light that I taped off

My first mods and I am STOKED!

Nice job! Sounds like you need to drink every time you do some mods to the truck. Think about tinting the fog lights?

Came out real nice. Those tails could use a good wet sanding and some clear though..

I thought about it and opted out....I hear the chrome chips easy and the chrome piece is the reflector so if I black it then I feel like I will be loosing out on light a lot....

Cant wait

I started my rims/calipers today...rims black, calipers white and If tomorrow time pervails, I will paint the fogs. A little nervous about them because I hear that "chrome" comes off reeeeeeeal easy

Yep the chrome on the fogs comes off really easily. I used paper and as small an amount of un-tacky painter's tape as I could get by with and still had some chrome come up.
