Here is a first hand review for the Cooper Zeon LTZ. I have recently purchased and installed a set of 275/60/20 LTZ's. I had them installed first thing Saturday morning, then took a 200 mile trip through the mountains. Wow. What an awesome tire! It does have a bit of road noise, but it is not bad, and with the radio on, even at almost its lowest level, you could not hear the tires. During my little mountain excursion, I took my truck down an old logging road on the side of the mountain. Other than the rocks that hang in between the wide tread, the tires performed flawlessly.

I arrived back Saturday evening to my home and was surprised to find that I had not even worn the teats off of the tread. Almost unheard of for a soft all terrain, and I gave it hell through the curves in the hills. On Sunday, I helped a few buddies at their hunting land putting up deer stands. The land is 700 acres of rolling North Georgia hills. There are dry spots and wet spots on this land. It took up raining around 9am and didn't let up til lunchtime. We were in a huge soup bowl full of mud. I'm not talking a little wet dirt here, I'm talking when you step out of your truck, it cakes to your boots kinda mud. The Zeon LTZ's were awesome in the sticky mud we were in. I did not get hung up once the whole time, and every time I exited my truck, the tires were completely caked with mud. All I can say is Cooper hit a home run with this tire.

While it may not suit everyone's needs as much as mine, I cannot speak a bad word about them. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. I purchased these at www.treadepot.com. I love my LTZ, Haven't taken em off road yet(I'm 2wd not sure if I will) but they are great so far!

Glad to hear your enjoying them. I have had mine on for awhile now and have no complaints. Seems like their becoming more popular now then when I first bought mine.

I wish they would just offer them in a few more sizes. They don't offer either of the sizes (or metric equivalents) I would be interested in. (35x12.50-20 or 22) 305/50R22 would be perfect with these tires.

 

OK folks...sorry for the delay, but it kinda works out. I have finally had a chance to get some pictures of the new LTZ's and get them posted. A 5000 mile observation....Nothing but praises! They handle VERY well in the wet or dry, and they really surprised me caked up with Georgia red clay as well! These are a 275/60/20 on a stock FX4 20" wheel. My truck sits DEAD level on the running boards and bed rails, so that will give you some perspective. Here are the pics.

Looks good! I've got over 10000 on mine now and they are still doing great!

 

Do they come in sizes to fit the 18" FX4 rims? I heard they would but they are 10 ply and ride rough. How have they rode for your guys?

 

I love mine they ride like a dream, especially for having 23's

 

I think the sizes are limited in 18 inch? This is my first set of 20's so I have no way to compare but as far as the ride I think they are very good.

 

Not sure if they have them in the size you need. I would check out www.treadepot.com and see.

 

awesome now im pretty dead set on getting these tires. i had the goodyear silent armor tiers but i want a little more meat and better off road performance. especially in the snow! anyone know how long these tires will last?
