That's a great way to look at it! I go through vehicles like you would not believe and this one has kept my complete interest the whole time! The bumper is the oem one. I enlarged the opening to recess the lights and plate. I also removed thf stock fogs and modified the housings to attach a custom ram air system that feeds the stock box with a k&n drop in. Eventually the lights and plate will come out to clear the way for a large intercooler fed from a turbo and the ram air set-up will be converted to brake cooling duties most likely.

Do you still use the 4.88 gears with those smaller tires?

I do still use the 4.88's! Originally when I lowered it I had a 32" tire and the revs were up there cruising at 75-80 on the highway but it was nice to listen to. After I took the Lightning wheels and 32" tires off I had a set of old take-offs that measured 30" in diameter. I ran that set-up for a week while I got the 24's bought and ready. It pulled really crazy with the 30" tires my gas mileage was as bad as when I had the 38x15.5's on...I still got just under 16mpg Saturday on a 300+ mile trek to New Jersey Saturday pushing 85-90 most of the way! The current tires are 33.3" tall and they seem to work really really good with the 4.88's. The 33.3's and 24x10's weigh just under 100lbs which isn't horrible and the revs stay down near 2500 and 75mph.

Thanks bro! She was a lot more fun w/ the 30" tires on there last week but still a lot of fun no doubt!

I should have those helper springs in the mail to you tomorrow man! Got them wrapped up today. It's seriously like a 4x4x24 package that weighs 50+lbs!

KC daylighters. They are the 100w fog light beam but I changed the bulbs to either a 130w or 150w. i can't remember which one but they are bright as all hell and they put out a good pattern

I think that may be a biast opinion considering I bought that valance from you! HAHA.... We have gay lift laws here in MD that are seldom inforced but none the less are in place and some cops have a hard on for them. I think it may be jealousy in certain instances but that's just my opinion. Either way, a local cop pulled up next to me on the 4th of July and blatently told me that my truck was extremely illegal and a hazard to others and the next time he saw me driving it he was going to do everything he could to screw me. Normally I would have blown it off but this happened within a half mile from my house and somewhere I drive everyday. Just thought it best to switch it out on my own terms.
