Installed K&N Filter
Installed K&N Filter
I have an 05 F150 XLT Screw, I did an oil change this weekend, and well, since I was already at the parts store, I wanted to see if they had a K&N Filter in for my truck. They had one left, so I bought it. I already did the Gotts Mod, and now, its even better. The throttle response is amazing now, not to mention, the exhaust is deeper and louder.

C'mon Rebel....
RebelOne believes he has better throttle response, nothing wrong with that. I'll back him on this because I noticed it as well after I installed my K&N 4 years ago.
If you wanna' tell the guy it's raining while peeing on his back, then go right ahead.
Birds of a feather....
I noticed a difference when I switched to a K&N drop-in. Not as much as when I switched to a CAI though.
It could have been all in my head though. I like to believe what the box, company, and consumers say. I'm a sucker for taking peoples word.

Your butt dyno is so accurate it can tell the difference between stock power/torque versus stock power/torque +1-2? I was hardly able to tell the difference from installing my Edge, and that supposed to give like 25 HP and 40 LB/TQ.
