Best place to buy gears
Where's the best place to purchase gears from. I've finally decided to step up to 4.10's. Also, what's a good brand to go with. I see lots of people with FRPP gears.

the 23's are already on. I am running a 305/40/23 falken ziex tire. They ride soooo much smoother than my 22's with way less road noise. It feels like you're floating down the road. I considered 4.30's as well but I do a ton of highway driving so I don't want something too overkill. I think the 4.10's will suit my needs just fine. I am consistently getting anywhere from 22-24 on the highway with the 23's and 3.55's. I would like to try and keep it above 19 on the highway.

Well i went from 3.55's to 4.11's and personally GAINED 1mpg on the highway, and slightly over 2 around town. This was back when I still had factory wheels/tires. 32" I beleive. Your running right at 32.5/33"? I was getting 21-22mpg driving 75-80mph all the time.
With my current setup I have 30.5" tires with 4.11 gears. Making around 19mpg on the highway as long as I don't see boost.
I doubt you will have any ill effects on the highway going to 4.30's .. If nothing else at least no difference from going from 3.55's to 4.11's. Either one though will really wake that truck up.
Just FYI. JDM ran 4.56's if I'm not mistaken in their Saleen truck and claim to get anywhere from 17-18mpg out of it.

Thanks for the advice Justin it's much appreciated. You are right they did run 4.56's in the saleen truck. Jim Jr. said he drove the **** out of that truck for like 2 years and it just kept on taken it. I need to figure out which blower to run now!
yea there's tons of 4.30's out there. I think I will go ahead and get the 4.30's since they are the same price. I'm also looking into the FRPP hotrod cams. That'd be a nice little combo together
Jwool I am running right at 2200-2300 rpms at 70mph with my 305/40/22's which are about 31.5" tall so with your 23's you should be closer to 2000. I find that the closer I am to 2000rpms is when I get the best hwy mileage.
Thats odd because I am running motive 4.30's in my truck.

I would have to agree with you but dang I hate driving that slow....
Kinda wished I had my 3.55's back for the hwy driving but dang I love the spiritedness of the 4.30's
