possible good deal?

So i was at HHGregg trying to find 1GB SD Card for my trail cam (Just got it cant wait to get it out) and on the clearence table there were 2 sets of Pioneer 6x8 for 29.99. i only got one set casue at the momnet i wasnt sure if both would fit in front and rear and it appears that they are the same size (correct me if im wrong) so i may have to go get the other set today (hopefully its still there but they did have some Jensen 6x8 for the same price)

so was this a good deal or not?

They will work, but depending on how particular you are about how your music sounds, you may need to upgrade or amp them at some point. I ran across a screaming deal on a set of 4 polk audio 6x8s for $40. Originially $89 per pair. Hifi buys was going out in my area. I have always used the pioneer premier head units and had awesome luck with them. I don't see why their speakers would be much diferent, but sometimes companies focus all of their time into one product line, and the other things they offer are just a supplement that carries their name.

It is probably not a bad buy. I have always thought Pioneer made a good speaker for the money. It won't sound as good as Infinity, Polk or Alpine but definately better than the stock ones.
