truck stopped

I have a F150 5.4 triton 2005. I was driving and all of a sudden my all electronics stopped working as did the truck. My lights, however stayed on and I had to manually disconnect them so they wouldn't wear down my battery. Any ideas. Maybe my altenator?

Do you mean the headlights or the dash indicator lights or what lights? Did the headlight switch not work? Were you able to turn the key off? Don't understand not being able to turn the lights off (whatever lights they were) Did you check fuse #34? That is the PCM fuse (20A) and I assume if it was blown, the trucks not gonna run. Need more info.
