Talking Painted My Mirror Caps**PICS**

Hey guys i painted my mirrors yesterday with the dupli-colour method. Took about 6 hours but was a lot of fun to do. Out of ten though id say they are a 7. Im hoping to fix them or touch them up next weekend. Overall im preety satisfied for now.

Looks good, I see you figured out how to get the mirror off without breaking it. Now throw on some PTM handles or some LT handles and paint the flares or swap them for the smooth lariat flares.

Hey Grassman,

Great job! Looks good! Question....it's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like there's still a slight bit of texture on the cap. Did you sand them or not?
In fact, what was your procedure.......i.e., prep, number of coats, both primer and paint, etc.?

I'm thinking of doing it myself, and yours seemed to turn out well. Thanks!
