You're right because they made a platinum in 04-08 and all lariats and krs had lt handles and body colored bumpers

but lariats and KRs have the pueblo gold or arizone beige lower trim so they aren't truly PTM'ed

Yes they did, but you can't get a solid blue lariat. I tried before I bought this one, could not get one so I stepped it back to an FX4 again. I did not want another two tone truck.

That's too bad. That color is gorgeous and should be an option for ANY trim level.

You can get that color on a lariat, but it's one of only two colors that you are forced to get two tone. The other color is bright red.

Yours is an 06 so it is true blue, mine is an 07 and they dropped true blue and replaced it with dark blue pearl. But I went to an auto paint supply shop and gave them my paint code and they mixed it right there.
