A/C problem

So, does anyone know whats wrong with my A/C. So when I am driving the air will be blowing normal and it will be nice and cool, but if I hit the brakes and come to stop at a stop light or stop sign the air will become warm. As soon as I hit the gas and take off again the air will start to cool back down. Any ideas... is the refrigerant low??????

Sounds like your fan clutch is not engaging. A set of e-fans will solve that problem, your a/c will actually be cooler with e-fans.

It could also be the blend door. They have a huge history of going bad in fords, my expedition has the exact problem. It was a cracked blend door so every time u stopped quickly, sped up or turned hard, the door would close or open onto the vents or the heater core, thus giving you alternating cold and heat. It is a $1500 fix at the stealership, or you can buy a repair kit online for about $100. I purchased mine from a site called heatertreater.net.

Hope this info helps.
