What are you guys keeping inside your Bed-Crossover Toolbox?

Hey, just trying to get some ideas of what guys keep in their cross-over toolboxes. I know a lot of stuff is job-specific, but I'd like to see what's getting stuffed into these things.

Mine is half empty, but what is in there so far-

2" ball drawbar
1-7/8" ball drawbar
21" 1/2 drive breaker bar
4-way lug wrench (should just get rid of)
1/2" Drive Sockets for breaker bar
Small Craftsmen rachet & socket set (enough sockets to tackle any easy roadside repair)
Small Shovel (army e-tool)
Spare Serp. Belt
2 qts. oil
Rubber tie downs
4 rachet straps

I think that's about it. Anything else that I should be carrying that would be important?

All of the above, plus:

Electrical:
Spare bulbs for tail, turn, and headlights (I swap bulbs in pairs so there's always at least one used bulb for a spare)
Spare bulbs for trailer lights (ditto)
Spare fuses
A cheap test light or voltmeter.

Safety:
Flashlight (3 really. 1 each in the console, glove box, and big one under/behind seat)
Tow strap
Reflective triangles
Gloves
Jumper cables
Poncho or tarp and/or rain jacket

I don't have a tool box in my 04, but I do have one in my 94 about 1/2 the year when I get sick of looking at the topper, I have a Delta extra wide, extra deep. Here is a list of what is in mine most of the time, keep in mind I am a carpenter for a custom home builder.

=209 pcs. Craftsman socket set
=2 Milwaukee cordless sets
=2 HD77 skilsaws
=1 Porter Cable Tiger saw
=3-4 nail guns
=2 framing squares
=300-500 ft of extension cords
=200-300 ft of air hose
=20'X1/2" chain
=20" tool box with misc hand tools

It took a while to figure out how to get it all in there, but atleast everything stays somewhat organized.

Somethings that jump out right away that I didn't have in there-

Jump Cables
Tow Strap
Towels
Reflective Markers

I will be adding these for sure in the near future. I've had the toolbox now for 6 months, keep putting off putting the important things in there, someday it's going to come back to haunt me.

Anyone ever use one of these things on their tow straps?

Looks like a good idea, maybe I can get one turned down in the shop out of stainless rod.

it seems kind of pointless to me and could definently be a safety issue if you end up snapping the tow strap

I've saw those Bully Bones in action. Pictured like on the site right up against the truck if you break the strap its not going to go anywhere. I've saw guys connect straps with them too, they are very heavy so getting them to fly a long distance likely won't happen. Especially if you have a wet towel or shirt tied to the strap like you should to prevent fly backs. Lots of guys don't do that, but after having a strap brake and bounce off the hood of my Chevy and needed a new hood...I always have something to wrap around the strap now.

I don't have a perminant box in my truck, but do carry a large box in the back when not hauling my quad. It has all the same stuff you guys have basically. I keep my ratchet straps, hitch (have a combo one so don't need multiples), craftsman tool kit, etc...in the cab. In the box is a jack, breaker bar, chains, tow straps, rags, jumper cables, oil/tranny fluid, etc....

Let's see, I've got tools, saws, knives, ammunition, flashlights, water, jumper cables, hand winch, misc stuff. I've also got dead bodies.
