RANCHO 4" vs Superlift 4.5"
Ok, I have a 2005 F150 FX4 Supercrew.
I am looking for a little more clearance so I dont want a 6" lift.
Stovetop has been corresponding with me on his Rancho lift which I really like.
Today I saw there is a 4.5" Superlift available also.
Can somebody give me a pros and cons of each?
The Superlift is obviously cheaper as are the shocks. But I dont need to go cheap for the sake of issues later.
I can afford either, but I dont want to overspend on a Rancho when the quality would have been just as good with the cheaper Superlift.
Is install harder for one or the other?
Thanks.

What size wheels do you have? I think the Superlift kit says that larger wheels (20's) can be run with more backspacing, and that factory wheels can be used in emergencies.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Rancho can use stock wheels because the front track is wider than the rear. Just what I have read.
Both seem to be good kits. The rancho comes with 4 shocks, where the superlift comes with a spacer for the front and different options for rear shocks.
Here is JesseRohr's truck with the superlift, I believe it was the 6" version.

Here is what the superlift website says;
Requires new wheels with backspacing of 4.5” min. / 4.625” max. For 20” or larger wheels, max. backspacing is 5.5”. Can run factory spare tire / wheel in emergency situation.
