door sounds like its open when I hit bumps but doors are shut, cant seem to figure out what it is but it sounds like passenger driver side, just bought it and didnt notice at test drive but now its everytime...any help.

 

Do You have a scab or regular cab? If you do make sure the back doors are completely closed. Mine does it once and a while, and when it does, I stop the truck and slam the back door shut, problem solved.

 

You dont happen to have componet speakers up front do you? The crossover could have came loose.

Mine is a scab and for some reason if the back doors arent SLAMMED shut they will do that... confused me at first too.

 

I do have supercab but the doors are shut but havent tried slamming them, what the heck could cause it to be slammed? I dont have component speakers, but i did try and check the back speaker today but couldnt figure out how to remove the cover, any help with that? thanks guys

 

If the back doors on a scab are not slammed closed they may not close completely, thus giving you the impression that the door is open, which it is.

 

yeah mine does that on the driver side when i hit bumps drives me crazy sometimes i dont know what to do about it
