Wrong forum. Topic is the highest mileage in a 04 or newer with a 5.4 3 valve.

358,000 on my 05, 5.4

Full synthetic every 3k. That's 119 oil changes. Going for 500k. Was told I was wasting my money with frequent synthetic oil changes. Proof is in the pudding!

342,683 miles for my 07 2wd club cab just finished servicing the AODE Transmission knock on wood it's only required filters & fluids serviced, tire's, brake's,wipers, and a battery. Surprisingly enough I still have to be careful pulling out on wet pavement cause she's still very frisky at a moments notice. But tip of the hat to the few who have gotten extremely lucky when picking their next ride.

Freshly rebuilt rear-end

08 with 198k just took a couple days off due to pinion bearing going out but finished rebuilding that afterwork tonight.
and an old parts truck 07 with 230k should still be going, but a tennager crash it twice and never did maintenance on it.

i've had my '04 fx4 for about a year now. currently at 226k

i think the prev owners wanted to sell because it had the money light on for bank 1 timing retard. i changed out the vct solenoid that had the screen coming apart and it's been running fine ever since. i also put a new phaser on that side but probably didn't need to.

either way, this winter i am looking at putting a full reman into it.

You have a 2v, not a 3v, which is the topic of this thread.

Hi I have 2004 f150 4x4 xlt 5.4L 3v.

My truck has 220000 miles .. there are things to keep it going. One thing is a code 0119 ECT sensor.. engine coolant temp sensor. If this comes up .. there is No !! Info . Its is the sensor on on the cylinder head underneath the intake manifold left side. It should say cylinder head temperature sensor. While you're underneath intake replace the knock sensors.. but when you remove the intake there is bolt that hold wires an it a mother trucker to remove nut..its in the back by the firewall..also every spark plug broke.. you will need the extraction tool.. it took 5 hours.. get the book on this truck . There's a $600 kit you can buy to stop the overhead cams chain tensioners. This is a good strong engine but nobody will work on it is one of the most difficult engines ford ever made.. 😂
