how do i get the license plate bulbs out

how do i get the license plate bulbs out

as i have said before i am no mechanic, i bought led's for my license plate bulbs and can see there may be different ways to get the bulb out, i have an 05 screw and would rather ask how to replace than mess something up thanks

Hey bud, it's really simple just push them out, there are metal clamps that keep them from falling out just look back there or put your hand, squeeze and push em out..

From behind remove the assembly from the plastic bumper cover, unplug the wire harness, then remove the light from the assembly.

This is quite frustrating if you have a frame mounted trailer hitch. Just be prepared unless you have tiny hands!

I have the stock trailer hitch, and it's not that bad. I noticed that my driver side assembly has a broken tab. I'm imagining the last owner didn't know what (s)he was doing. I'll get it fixed one of these days.

I know, I have big hands. It can be done though.
