Talking Phase 3: Complete

Hey Gang,

I thought I'd take a moment to share my progress. After a 15 min. event of 2 inch hail, I had some paintless dent removal done. While in the body shop I finaly had the Hella grill installed. After sitting in the basement for nearly 2 years.
The morning after the hail, I had my window tint appointment.

Thanks for looking,

Thanks Stealth.

An FYI, does anyone remember hearing about the flooding in Iowa last year.
Last June, 14 months ago, the water was touching the bottom of this bridge!

Thanks Bigdog,

I believe it is 30%. I can't remember for sure. It was suppose to be a similiar shade to the rear windows. They are stock.

Oh ok, just the contrast between it and the white really make it look dark. I have 15% up front and 5% in the rear, and my rear in pictures doesn't look as dark as your fronts, but I guess my tint isn't as dark as my paint color haha.

I do remember, we're still trying to fix bridges up here from that mess. Lake Delton is finally back to normal a year later. They are razing the old downtown district in my hometown because of that flood.

A white FX4, Good Choice.

Thanks for the supportive comments. I am proud of my truck.
Its becoming a money pit.

jntibs, glad to hear your getting back to normal. I am 30 yrs old and have now lived through 2 - 500 yr floods! Thank goodness for the Corp of Engineers and our Resivour.

bjp207, Thanks man. I had a paint to match grill before the Hella. If you notice I currently have ptm handles. However, I am replacing them with black surround & chrome pulls.

Tylus, I know. It was a good deal on amazon, so I jumped on it. But part of me always wanted a billet grill.

Thanks again F150 gang!

Looking good there, nice touch.

Remember the flood - I was in Iowa City the weekend before it 'really' started rising, down for a nephews wedding. Water was right outside the motel a few feet away. I heard the motel had the 1st floor under water when the flood was at it's worst. I also have 2 brothers in Cedar Rapids, homes were ok but the older brothers business had about 8-10' of water in it. Saw the RR bridge that collapsed and the City Hall pictures in CR. Yup - I saw it. I lived there in the late 60's when they had the 100 years flood, I honestly don't know which was worse.
