Dodge has had that off road package for a few years now, but they upped the ante for '09 to cash in on the success Ford's had with the FX4.

Funny, the F150 had an STX edition starting in 1997, and dodge came out with their SXT package in 2005 i believe.

Also Ford's trim packages start with XL, then XLT, and Lariat
Dodge has trim package that are SL, SLT, and Larame

But nah they wouldnt copy us

I've read several articles... http://www.trucktrend.com/features/n...ges/index.html this being one and mentions nothing.

I'd like to see the article that you speak of?

I'd drive the **** outta that thing. That's a super sexy truck. I could care less if it is copying the F-150 (witch its not)

Copying A F-150 or THE F-150?

Nothing about that Dodge screams F-150. THAT just a yellow truck with an off road package to me. I could pull up several Silverado Z-71s that are yellow so I guess they're copying the F-150 too?

Or applying your logic to cars, I could assume the Ford Mustang is copying my neighbors Ferrari because they basically come in the same colors and both have a horse on the front.

I wouldnt want a dodge 'Hemi'. Unless they changed it, they have a serious piston ring problem where the top of the piston comes off. I do like how they look, always thought they were the best looking trucks, and the new 09-10 interior is sexy. However, at the end of the day its a FIAT. Which isnt any better.

Never would I own a dodge.

On a side note, they are the only brand where even it's name tells you to avoid it.

I own a Grand Caravan and it's been a great family shuttle. Would not hesitate to buy another Dodge.

Another Ford on the other hand...well...let's just say right now I'm giving Ford the benefit of the doubt since I bought used. But so far, this replacement for my 4Runner has not impressed me with its build quality.
