Spark Plug Removal - Lisle Tool

Thinking about doing my spark plugs on my 05 Lariat soon. It has 45k miles on it now. My question is for all of you that have had broken plugs and used the lisle plug remover (or matco version), how successful have you been using the remover? Any instances where it couldn't pull a busted plug?

Lisle tool works wonders.......i evne emailed the engineer who designed it for a little help. You will need to make sure the plug os broken all the wa down to the jamb nut before use.

That removal tool will get the job done. Like everything in life, nothings 100% guaranteed to work, but you should be fine.

Anyone else? Sort of surprised that with as many broken spark plugs there aren't more that have used this tool.

First, there may not be as many broken as it seems, they just get a lot of attention, also, some made their on homemade extractor that doesthe same thing and some used the Rotunda tool.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but that's all I needed to get the plugs out of my 5.4 V8.
