A/C Trouble

I have a 2004 Lariat with the digital display A/C. My problem is that the unit starts for about 2 seconds then shuts off. Has anyone ever ran into this before and whats the fix. Thanks

What exactly is shutting down?

The compressor, the display, the whole thing... ?

To me, it sounds as if it's going into some protection mode [safety cutoff].... the reasons can be numerous.

See who else can chime in and lend assistance here but, right about now, a dealership visit sounds like a good bet.

Completely off topic, but I hate your signature. You should really change it to read "Don't click here" instead of "SUP?!".

Ok, back to the regular scheduled programming...

I'm glad you bought that up...

Someone requested the same thing about a month ago thru PM and I completely forgot all about it.

It's gone.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Good to hear, however....

That's usually a band-aid fixture for many problems.

I hope yours is the contrary.
