IDNC- Did they sand the top part of your mirror down to smooth? And also where the keypad is on the handles can u still see the texture inbetween the buttons since the cover doesnt have little bars that go between them?

I am working on mine at the moment. I started with the tailgate handle first in case something screwed up. The paint process went well but for some reason it came out a slightly different color, a little too orange looking. I am redoing it. I sanded down the chrome real good and used adhesion promoter/primer. I think having such a light primer coat may have caused the problem with my red. The other guys had dark blue and black trucks so they probably didn't have this problem with the dark colors. Red tends to pull through whatever is underneath it more. I am going to shoot the red a little heavier/extra coats this next time. I will post some pics when i get it all worked out!

i dont believe they sanded the texture out completely , the mirrors still have a little texture too them.

as for the handles
you can see it if your looking for it , but since the paint is black its really not noticeable

Well after a bit of trial and error I finally got my tailgate handle done. It turned out pretty well I think? The fitment of the tailgate handle didn't seem to be as good as the door handles I got. Not sure why since they all came together. You can see a little of the black around the outer edge but it is not real noticable.

I am starting work on the rest of the handle covers now. Hope to have them done and installed soon.
