Scangauge II or others

Is Scangauge the only gauge that will give you Tranny temp ?

I will be going on a roughly 1000 mile round trip trailer haul and was looking for an inexpensive way to keep an eye on the transmission temp.
Actually what I really want is the Gryphon but price is to steep for now so looking for a band aid in the mean time.

Thanks

A tranny temp gauge is a lot cheaper than any of the other things, certainly not useful for anything but that... but... I have a couple of Hayden's that I was gonna put on the MH for trans and oil and I think I only paid about $35. ea.
