TSB? Is this a "sticky"? I dont see anything pretaining to HOW to remove them. Please feel free to send a link, if possible.

A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin. It is a communication sent to Ford dealers advising how the techs should deal with a problem.

You do not want Autolite. Motorcraft performs the best but several have tried the one piece Champions. Several of those trying them have had problems with misfires. I went back with Motorcrafts and have no problems.

The photos in the link have been deleted. How is TSB(Recalls & TSB tab) used? Does it require a password?

I called around they all said yes we'll cover it...Took it to one dealer who said yes we'll cover it paid 180 bucks for the labour to change plugs and none broke.

I went with the champion one piece plug with the nickel anti seize as per TSB.
Should not be an issue in the future.
Good Luck
You have an amazing dealer. All the dealers I've ever dealt with would only change a part if it was broken. It's something that all 8 plugs went bad that early in life.

If you do it yourself, here is an interesting review on the Lisle extractor tool.

I replaced mine at 55k miles with the one piece Champions. I'm glad I did b/c the gap was .06 where spec is .045. Plus, now it's not in the back of my mind as I keep driving Big Blue.

I posted about it here, including the method I found from another poster for extracting the one I broke.

No, they don't pay to change plugs...sorry if there was a misunderstanding...I paid for champion plugs and labor and IF the dealer broke any of them, then the plug repair would have been covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. This was approved by the service manager.

This is customer service. I did buy the truck from them as well. I think in these financial times customer service is important. SOME dealers still don't get it.
