Locking Glove Box?

Im watching to movie "Knowing". Nicholos cage drives what looks like a 07 or 08 f150. He unlocked the glove box and grabbed a gun out of it. I dont have a locking glove box on my 04. Does anyone else have one? Or do they add them on the newer models? Or it just a movie...

Maybe he customized it, lol. He had the stock cheap chrome rims. But that truck handled amazingly and took everything he threw at it.

It was a great idea for a movie and it could have been a lot better, but I guess they just had a brain fart.

Look into a console vault. It bolts into the center console and is made out of 12 gauge steel and bolts in place. While it lists models for 04-07, they fit the 08 because I have one in mine. You will lose some space, but the added security is worth while, if you need it.

Be sure to consult your state and local laws concerning the storage of a firearm in a vehicle. Different states and jurisdictions have varying requirements.
