33's and a leveling kit? post it up!

I am looking into getting 33's and a leveling kit. however i do not want some skinny *** stock looking tires. i just wanted to see what everyone had to give me some ideas.

i know i am doing 33's with 20's. Also a 2.5-3" leveling kit.

But like i said lets see what you got. show a picture and explain it all.

I would go with a 2.5" leveling kit at most the 3" kit is going to put to much stress on your ball joints and lower suspension components. My wheels are 17x8's with +18 offset and stick out about 1.25" farther than stock. But I have 35" tires but gives you an idea.

My 2wd with a 2.5 inch leveling kit and factory 4x4 rear block. Tires are 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on 18x9 Moto Metal 951's.

I'm sure if you looked at tirerack or **** cepek's site you could see if they're available in 20s. They wear awesome, great design, great traction, load E rating too. Will easily last at least 50k depending on your road manners. Rubbed a little on the valance and inner fender well, little trim and hammer action cured that if it concerns you. The 4.5" offset really pushes them out.

I don't have a dead on side shot yet, here's the closest I got at the moment

man that looks good. shoot all of these trucks look good. i was looking more into 12.5's due to the whole rubbing thing; however i have no problem with beating her up a little lol. i was more worried about them rubbing on the control arms than anything.

Your wheel choice will have a greater effect on that than the tire width, less backspacing will push em out away from suspension components. Lotta backspace will suck em in

Well I don't know the exact math but you can crunch the numbers to see what you'd like but it will come down to what is available for the wheel style/size/bolt pattern you need. Stock backspace is around 5.5". Any wheel wider than the 7.5 will stick out that amount further, add up the difference in backspace and that's how much the wheel will move the tire out, then half of the width of the tire will stick out on each side.

My wheels are 1.5" wider with 1" less backspace with tires around 2-2.5" wider than stock, so they stick out around 3.5" inches than before.

I believe the tires are pretty close to a 33x12 inch tire. I would take the block out, but in case I haul something heavy, I dont want it all sagged out in the rear. I can live with a little rake.
