I know you don't want to hear it but I'd be itching to throw a bigger lift on that truck. Maybe a 12 to make the body sit level with the tip of the tires 
I'm just used to the f250 next door with the 16 inch lift and 40s.

Not narrow minded with cars/trucks at all. In fact I'm about as open minded as you can get. It just is what it is. Its your money and your truck to do with it what you wish. Not every one is going like everyone's truck. You like it, thats all that matters. More power to ya for being bold and different.

I think it looks rediculous. But it is yor truck and your money. And it was built for a purpose. So props.

What else can you do to make it..safe?
when im done with the truck it will have a four link in back with bags the front will have a bigger IFS lift on it with the coilovers taken out and replaced with hydrolic cylinders that have a line run to another hydrolic cylinder that is mouted parallel to the frame butt up against an airbag so ill have a 1:1 air to hydrolic like ratio, its call a hybrid suspension, STS twin turbos with the motor bored and stroked with forged internals and a built trans, carbon fiber drive shafts front and rear, race axles in the rear, fully painted, and a shaved tailgate.
