Magnuson Blower/2004 F150/Tune

Alright folks,

I found on Ebay straight from the factory Magnuson supercharger systems WITHOUT THE TUNE for 2500.

Sounds like a perty good deal, would someone please tell me otherwise?

Could i have Mike at Troyer send me a tune for it and it would work in place of whatever Magnuson sends?

Thanks
Joel

That IS a very good deal.

The manifold looks the same as my RoushCharger and it definately has the same core supercharger from Eaton...the M112. So 2.5K + $500 and you got a complet kit for about 3K.

I have never seen one installed of this brand, but I can tell you Roush sells about the same kit for $5K. With the tune. And thats on Sale.

Intercooler is a must on these kits and this one says it has it, but I don't see it in the pic. Very very important. Because if it doesn't have it, then it isn't such a great deal, because you can buy a Roush non-intercooled kit for about $3500 with the tune and warranty.

I don't recommend the non-intercooled kit. I bought one for one of my mustangs and regret it alot.

I have no info on the Ebay company, but Magnuson has a pretty good rep in some chevy and nissan circles.

That is the entire setup there. The intercooler is integrated into the Upper intake. And then the air-water Heat Exchanger is right next to the blower snout.

AWESOME DEAL...sorta. The tuning will probably cost you another $500...but that will net you almost 400 RWHP

So yeah, go for it IMO

BTW, that seller is the actual Manufacturer of Magnachargers. Not many people run them. I think AnahiemDrew has one though

I had the Roush Non-Intercooled on my 2006 FX4 Screw

did not regret it 1 bit. I paid $2,450 for that thing with Tune and got 1 year of warranty. Had to pay $300 shipping though since I'm in Hawaii

The N/I Rouscharger could let my Screw do a powerslide sideways...If I had bought the Intercooled version, would have cost me $5,000 minimum...for only about 33 HP more (+112 HP vs. +145 HP). Not a fair trade-off IMO
