F150 2006 Rotor Removal

Does anyone out there know if you have to remove the axel nut on the end of the spindle before removing the rotor? Mine appears seized and I heard several did not have to remove the axel nut, but on different years and models.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and your kindness will be returned to you.

Thanks,
Rich

Do you have a '04-up 2WD F-150? If so, you think it's seized because it takes 150 lbs. of torque. That sucker is on there tight. That's not a tapered bearing. If it's 2WD, you have to remove the nut. If it's 4WD, you don't have to.
