So I am keeping the truck and making some changes! (for safety)

Hey guys after all the loops we've been through since the wreck with the way everything plays out I will be keeping the truck. with a "few" modifications

The guys we were slammed into is a professional photorapher for insurance claims lol go figure and took a lot of on scene photos i'll post as soon as he releases them.

I really want a steel rear bumper but don't kno how to make it work with the body lift

-3"body lift has been ordered
-going to run procpmp 1079 17" wheels
- haven't decided on the 34/35 i want to run yet
-the ebay black bull bar thats like 150 right now
-double 15% tint on sides
-35%tint on the front windshield when i get my eye prescription
-cut the magnaflow out of my muffler for not and run a straight pipe
-get some nerf steps
-re gearing to 4.56's this winter sometime
-adding in a loc rite locker

here's my color f150 with 33"s and kind of the same wheels. mine will sit 3.5" higher than this one. with 35's

I really want PTM bumpers but can not find them my guy will have to order chrome bumpers still not sure what I am going to do with the grill might order another roucsh chrome over

Nice plan, but what does any of this have to do with safety?

kinda of a joke kind of night got in a real bad wreck truck saved my life. I going a little higher so if something like that ever happens again the liittle car will go ALL the way under me. but damn getting his by a car doing 60mph while I was stopped will never leave my head with such a collision. I am looking at a 3/16" steel rear bumper. I guess it will have to have a custom brackets made cause of the 3" body lift going on

Get in a crash and have the other car hit your tires instead of the cab. I used the safety aspect as one way to talk the parents into being on board with me lifting my truck . Im higher than whatever is going to hit me.

I dont care what either of you say, a collision from the front or rear, even after being lifted as much as you are describing, will still result in body damage, and with a body lift and bracket-relocated bumpers, probably more than would be had if the truck was stock.

I MIGHT be able to see your argument if you were 8" in the air on 40s. But your in a 2WD with a body lift. Not that big of a difference.

whatever sounds good I am going to be welding custom brackets for the bumpers after the bumpers are hung

the frame has been replaced

because on a lot of **** going on it's either have the repairs paid for or have the bank pay the loan off and then not have a truck as well. Im not on here to argue what I should do or am doing. Everyone on here is in a different kind of situation and this is mine either keep the truck or drive a couple hundred $$ beater
