gauge needles move after truck is off

Hey guys’ trying to find out if this is a problem or just normal. Ok so if I turn key off gauge needles all drop down right like you would think but if I wait about 15 sec they drop a little more and then pop back to where they were at.
Truck is a 2006 F150 5.4
Any help would be great.

Maybe the battery going. Do the guages ever "sweep", run all the way up and back down?

I know my battery is low. But when I start mine the needles set there and "wiggle" in the off position for about ten seconds then they go to the on/ normal spot. Does anyone else's do this?

That seems like it's not normal....They should pop up right when you start the truck, at least they do for me. If your battery is good enough to start the truck, that should not be the problem.

gauges

it's fine. nothing wrong, it's just like some motorcycles when you turn the key on the needles do a full sweep, like a self test, then they go to the normal spot....for those of you who change or alter your cluster remember this when you put the needles back in place...as this will aid in the proper allignment.

his question siad it happens with the truck is being turned off.... has nothing to do with the battery.

It only happens when the battery gets real low. Like when i've been bumpin my subs for a while and then it will barely start then the needles will wiggle then they will come on.

It's supposed to recaliberate the gauges.
