Off Road Lights

OK, I searched and couldn't find what I want. I am looking for pictures of the lights at night. I would like to see view from Driver's Seat. So, if you have a pic please post it. I plan on maybe mounting behind the grill if there isn't a huge difference between behind grill and out front (I have a bull bar). Any info is helpful so please explain your setup with your picture. Thanks

I will take some pictures of mine for you tonight. I have two 130w 6" KC lights mounted behind my grille.

I think I'll stay out of this one as much as I'd like to brighten things up.

It's kinda dark in here. I'd, personally, like to see how much light you can throw on the matter.

I think I could tan in front of your truck with the lights on.

I appreciate it. I'm thinking about something basically like your set up.

I'll play, though I'm sure not quite what you're looking for.

Wasn't quite dark yet

I didn't get any tonight I'm sorry. I will try again tomorrow. The weather was horrible out tonight, and I forgot to grab my camera when I left the house.

I have HID's in all my lights. 55w 6000k in my heads/fogs. 35w 6000k in my KC daylighters on my bull bar. I love them. Before I had the HID's in the KC's they were pretty much useless. They are pencil beam but would really only light up the reflectors on the road. With my fogs/heads on they just didnt work that great. Now with HID's in them they work wonders. I can see WAYYY down the road. My fogs spread wide, my heads hit the middle, and my KC's shoot way down the road. I would get a pic but it would be pointless. Its so hard to get a good picture of lights at night.

Yeah with the lights being a beam light and not a spread light they don't give off a ton of light. But I have mine aimed way out infront of me so I can see a good distance down the road. I have them aimed up about the same beam height as the highs maybe a little higher. If i had installed a brighter bulb or HID's the light output would be much better. But I'm satisfied for now, who knows how long that will last though.

I've got some crappy ones from a long time ago. Not from the drivers seat, but just outside the truck.

Here are just the low beams:

and here are lows, fogs and my PIAA 525s set on the driving light setting.

The PIAAs were aimed a bit high when I took those photos.

I appreciate everyone posting. So if I put them behind the grill, should I get driving, off-road/rally, or spotlights? Do they put off enough heat to damage the grill?

Nah, mine are mounted decently close to the grille and I have no problems with heat. Although, the only time I run them i when I'm driving down the road so there is a great airflow around them. I would say sitting somewhere they would get pretty hot, and I'm not sure how good the plastic on our grilles our, but i couldn't imagine the lights melting the plastic. I dunno maybe.
