Gouged plastic fuel tank

First time post, hope you can help.

Took my stock '06 Lariat off road for the first time and high centered on a rock- my bad. I now have a 4" long, 1/4" deep cut in the bottom of my gas tank. No leaks. Does this tank have an internal bladder, or is the plastic simply so thick that I got lucky?

Thanks guys.

1/4" now that's pretty deep. I'd patch it if it was my tank. But on the other hand just going to a local junk yard you might get one really cheap and in good shape.

If its not leaking your in luck, you can patch it.

There are patches that claim they will hold while the gasoline is leaking, but on my older truck, that wasn't the case. The only remedy to the problem was a hole new tank and a days labour.
