Problems installing Buffalo Nerf Bars

Just picked up some used Buffalo Nerf Bars today and I am having some problems getting the bracket to fit on the drivers side at the front. There is a cable to something running throug the area it should be bolted on and it's getting in the way. I've got an 06' Supercrew, and they came off an 04' Supercrew so they should work. The brackets line up but this cable is getting in the way. Does anyone else have Buffalo Brand Nerf Bars installed and could you help?

if i am thinking correctly it is just the parking brake and you can just push it out of your way.

you just put the bracket up against the body and bolt them in (im assuming they mount like OEM's) just put the bracket between the body and that cable, i took my oems on and off about 10 times and always had to move that line to get them on. ive also installed a few aftermarkets for friends and they all mounted same as oem.
