i have had 3 sets of carquest blues, the first two were great(replaced when rotors warped because of stuck calipers) then this third set I have is a different manufacturer and they are garbage...all kinds of dust and they are crappy. I would reccomend Wagner thermo quiets, sold at advance auto

Wagner Thermoquiets are good, or I highly recommend EBC GreenStuff pads too.

I replaced my stock pads at about 48k with some carquest blues. I love them. Barely any brake dust and just as much stopping power or more than stock.

I got the wagner thermoquiets on the rear and porterfield on the front. Not going to get the porterfields again.I went to change the front pads with the TQs and get the stock rotors cut and they said thier out of spec already, by alot.I never had them cut and put the porterfields on 2 months after i got the truck.Believe it or not the pads have alot of meat left on them but the rotors are warped and i feel it in the steering wheel when stopping.I now have a brand new set of power slot rotors and wagner TQs waiting in the garage to go on..As soon as i get a day off so i can do them. The rear wagners have almost no dust

I've had Wagner ThermoQuiets for 75,000 miles. Can't beat them.

Ive had Wagners Thermoquiets as well since March, and I have washed my wheels twice!

I could use alil wash right now but zero brake dust maybe just a lil spray and go. If your going to have expensive wheels its the best $50 you will ever ever ever spend. Hmm 6 bucks a bottle of wheel cleaner, used to have to clean about 4 times a month or more. Welp in about 6 months I guess you will have a set paid for.

Get the thermos you won't be disapointed like a buddy at work who got a set of high end ceramics and still cleans dust.

My vote goes to the Thermo-Quiets. I'll be getting a set of these in the near future.

My experience is with the semi-metallic. That is what I will be buying again. No dust, no noise, great stopping and should get 90,000 at least out of them.

monroe ceramics, off rockauto. $76, should be $46 for all four wheels after they send the rebate check back.

They work pretty good, look well made, and stop fine. I put them on a 2005 this past weekend. Oh and they come with the brake hardware and little packet of lube.

I use Satisfied Pro Ceramic from Checker/Kragen. Hardly any dust, quiet and for about $59 with coupon very reasonably priced!

I too am HUGE fan of the semi-metallic Wagner TQ's. LOW dust, no noise and inexpensive. I would be willing to try their ceramics but my experience with ceramic pads is that they are very hard on rotors and at times squeak. Others with experience with Wagner cermics can offer more insight but the semi-metallics are awesome.
