tailgate removal ?

tailgate removal ?
on a 04 f150 I got the two cables off each side got the right side off the hinge but cant see how the left side comes off, or does it?

With your tailgate halfway open, lift the right side up off the hinge point, then slide the tailgate to the right.

You ought to try it on mine. It has the tailgate step.
