i fell in love again
with the wife being in Nor-Cal and me in Vegas, i take the trip up there every 2 weeks. i try to take a different route each time so i dont get board. wll this time i took ll back highway roads and man what a trip. well i tooka fw pics but i just attached a few to get started. two are near big pine. after we came thru the white mountains it was a nice break from the twistys so we stopped let the brakes cool nd took some picks and threw a ball around. then went on to the tioga pass and yosemite nat park (was dark but still fun) and finally into livingston ca for the night. i drove up to red bluff ca today and will head back to vegas on monday. man what a trip and the truck ran awesome. the eibach set up with teh drop and dampers were a dream. ithink the rear needs a sway bar. best of all, i got 19 MPG for the whole trip. dont have the numbers in front of me but the quick math said 19.1 but the truck said 19. i cant believe it. edge on lvl 3 and 91 octane is a great match!! anyway sorry for being longwnded but what a trip. made me love this truck that much more.

Very Nice Pics... its always nice to just get out and drive and end up seeing things you havent seen before

thanks for the compliments !!! it truly was a great trip and yes, getting off the beaten path was nice. i am heading back the same way so my son and i can see what we missed at night. here is another pic of my son walking near a waterfall that was right on the side of the road.
